Downdraft Tables are typically used for control of moderate to heavy concentrations of dry contaminants in applications such as grinding, polishing, dry buffing, and other manufacturing/process applications. The self cleaning systems can be either manual or automatically controlled to minimize maintenance and reduce replacement filter costs. The downdraft solution is used to ensure compliance to local OSHA regulations by drawing contaminants away from the operator’s breathing zone.

PLUG AND PLAY DESIGN 

The SCT5-? is a fully self contained downdraft table, meaning all you have to do is plug it in and go to work. Prewired from the factory (including LED light,) the table is designed to exceed 250 feet per minute of downdraft suction. Dirty air is run through a highly efficient Nano Fiber cartridge filter and clean air is exhausted to the left of the workstation.

BUILT IN TRIPLE PROTECTION SPARK ARRESTOR

For applications that involve sparks, we have pre-engineered 3 levels of spark protection. The first layer is a built in drop out tray for heavy slag. The 2nd layer is a wrap around all but the bottom 20% of the cartridge. The 3rd layer is the cartridge filter that is treated with a fire retardant coating.

Grinding Downdraft Table is a dust Extractor collecting the grinding and polishing dust at the generating source. The dust will be purified by filter plate or filter element in the table, then purified air to be emissioned into the workshop.
